Originally formed in 1994 as Dejanira, a Toto tribute band with male and female vocals; the group evolved over the years. Founding members Luca Carlomagno (guitar), Roberto Barazzotto (bass), and Italo Graziana (drums) later welcomed new singer Davide Gilardino. Together, they began working on their debut album, “XXenty,” a title celebrating over two decades of music together. This new lineup inspired a rebranding, and Mindfeels was born. The name pays homage to their enduring love for Toto, particularly the iconic album “Mindfields” and its guitarist, Steve Lukather. “XXenty” was released by Art Of Melody Music and Burning Minds Music Group on November 17, 2017. A special Japanese edition, featuring an exclusive bonus track and unique artwork, was released in December of the same year. Following the album’s release, Mindfeels performed select live dates across Italy, sharing the stage with bands like the Canadian cult favorite, Boulevard, and Italy's own Soul Seller. In 2018, Mindfeels collaborated with Danish artist Michael Kratz, performing at the Italian release party for his album “Live Your Life”. That same year, in July, they released “Dragging Me Outside,” a special collaborative track with Kratz. In May 2025, Mindfeels contributed the new song “All Behind” to the “We Still Rock... The World” compilation, released by Art Of Melody Music, with whom they renewed their contract.
Mixed and mastered by Roberto Priori (Danger Zone, Wheels Of Fire, Raintimes, Michele Luppi, StreetLore), the new album “2WO” is set for release on January 30, 2026. The CD booklet features introductory liner notes written by renowned Italian radio presenter Marco Garavelli, known for the shows LineaRock and Hard ‘N’ Heavy on Radio Lombardia.
